Care of your Valuable Art piece:
1. The beauty of your art piece will best be maintained by periodically gently removing dust with a very soft brush on a vacuum cleaner or a very lightly dampened cloth, and perhaps occasionally rejuvenating the finish with a very light coating of Howard Butcher Block (a tasteless and odorless mix of food grade mineral oil & natural waxes) or, if it won't be holding food, use Howard’s Feed-N-Wax (a blend of beeswax, Brazilian carnauba wax, mineral oil, and orange oil).
2. The wood for this sculpture was cured until it reached a moisture content like that in most homes. In some pieces, natural cracks have been filled and others have been retained to enhance the sculpture's design. Over time cracks may change because humidity levels vary considerably, as do areas of the country.
3. Ideally, your art piece should NOT be displayed in direct sunlight (no wood likes direct sun) because strong light will fade it's rich colors.
4. Display this treasure where it will be protected from chemicals and moisture.
