Shipping policy

Order Processing and Shipping: 

I ship orders in 1-3 days (excluding holidays, when I’m traveling, or other rare situations).  Please look at an item's written description to see if it has special shipping considerations, since size, weight, fragility and special boxing requirements may affect processing and delivery time. 

Shipping charges for an order are calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Estimated delivery time:  5-10 business days (depending on your location).

Order Tracking: 

Once your order has shipped you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your shipment’s progress. 

Shipping Quotes:

Prior to check out you may see a special "Call for a shipping quote" notice on the item's home page or in the Shipping section of your order.  This pertains to items that are extra heavy and/or large because the best carriers and rates can be difficult to predict in advance and often change.  I want to get you the best shipping rate possible.  If this pertains to your order, please do call or email me (rcpaulson@msn.com) so we can discuss your options.  Also, if you live in Oregon or Washington, I may be able to deliver the item and help with setup for less than it would cost to ship it.

Domestic Shipping:

I generally only ship to addresses in the United States and rates may differ if shipping to Hawaii or Alaska.  Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout (this information can be seen prior to paying).   If you want an item shipped to Canada, please contact me prior to ordering.  If your shipping address is outside my service area I will contact you immediately. 

International Shipping: 

I generally only ship to addresses in the United States.  Email or call me if you live outside the U.S. and are interested in purchasing my art.  International customers must be aware that shipping costs to their location AND their country's duty/VAT fees are THEIR responsibility.  I do NOT pay any international shipping costs or those special fees.  International shipping may result in extended shipping times and extra costs. 

Local Pick up of your order: 

BEFORE BUYING – People in the Portland, Oregon, area are welcome to pick up their art in person but they must contact me via email (or 503-307-8292) BEFORE PURCHASE so I can place the item on Reserve, and they won't be charged for shipping.  Also, when an item is reserved this way, a person has a chance to see the item before making a final purchase decision. 

Returning Items: 

You have up to 7 days to return an item from the time it is delivered to you if you are not satisfied with it, but you are responsible for all original and return shipping and processing costs.  Please do contact me prior to returning an item so we can determine if there is a way to make you satisfied without having to return it.  After I receive and inspect a returned item (if in original undamaged condition), I will issue you a full refund of the original cost of the item (minus shipping related charges).   

Missing or Damaged Items: 

If your order arrives damaged or if any items are missing, please contact me within 48 hours.  If the packaging is damaged, be sure to take photos of the box or crate before unpacking and if you find the art piece itself is damaged take appropriate photos showing its damage.  I and the shipper will need written details and photos describing the damage.  You can be sure that I will do all I can do to resolve any issues promptly.
