This intriguing, food safe 100% unique, irregular bowl is 5.25 Tall x 16.5 x 13 inches, 2.95 lbs.  It is smooth but rustic with golden-brown mottled colors .   
…The burly maple wood came from a deteriorating old maple tree that had to be removed for safety.    
… A smooth, satin, oil-based finish seals and protects this bowl, and the inside is also coated with a food grade wax, so it can hold and display anything but liquids or moist items.

Care of your Valuable Art piece:  
1.  The beauty of your art piece is best maintained by periodically gently removing dust with a soft brush on a vacuum cleaner, and occasionally buffing it with either a very light polish such as Howard’s Butcher Block – conditioner (a tasteless and odorless mix of food grade mineral oil & natural waxes).  
2. As for all wood art, it should NOT be displayed in direct sunlight because strong light will fade its rich colors, although some wood’s colors inevitably change a bit over time. 
3. Display this treasure where it will be protected from chemicals and moisture.
