Decorative light golden reddish-brown, driftwood cedar bowl sculpture with rustic yet elegant curvy lines and fancy wood grain patterns. Bowl is 14.5 inch long, 11.25" wide, 4.5" tall, 2 lbs.
… The recycled cedar wood that provided the beautiful strongly grained wood for this sculpture was found on the Pacific Ocean beach in Oregon. Some of its rustic exterior has been preserved to add character to the art. Significant splits and cracks have been strengthened, sealed and smoothed with epoxy.
… A smooth satin, oil based varnish-like finish protects the bowl's outside and the inside was sealed, then coated with a food-safe wax so it can hold and display anything but liquids or moist items.
… Shipping: This item will be shipped in a box. I expect it to take 1-5 days to ship and I will email you when it has been sent.

Care of your Valuable Art piece:
1. The beauty of your art piece will best be maintained by periodically gently removing dust with a very soft brush on a vacuum cleaner, and perhaps occasionally rejuvenating the finish with a very light coat of Howard Butcher Block (a tasteless and odorless mix of food grade mineral oil & natural waxes) or, if it won't be holding food, use Howard’s Feed-N-Wax (a blend of beeswax, Brazilian carnauba wax, mineral oil, and orange oil).
2. The wood for this sculpture was cured until it reached a moisture content similar to that in most homes. In some pieces, natural cracks have been filled and others have been retained to enhance the sculpture's design. Occasionally, over time, cracks may change since indoor humidity levels vary considerably (e.g., residence or office).
3. Your art piece should NOT be displayed in direct sunlight (no wood likes direct sun) because strong light will fade its rich colors.
4. Display this treasure where it will be protected from chemicals and moisture.
