Twisted and irregular natural Wabi Sabi, golden brown with maroon colors, conjoined root floor or tabletop sculpture. 35 Tall x 17 x 14", 18 lbs.  
... This intriguing sculpture is made from a long-dead and fallen old growth Ponderosa pine tree's conjoined roots.  The tree was over 42 inches in diameter, about 150 ft tall, and about 250 years old. It had likely been lying on the ground and "curing" for nearly 100 years in the mountains of Eastern Oregon, where it preserved naturally by the relatively dry high mountain weather. 
… A smooth and satin shellac-like finish protects the wood from anything but liquids, sun or extreme heat.

1.  The beauty of your art piece is best maintained by periodic gentle dust removal with a soft brush on a vacuum cleaner, and perhaps occasionally rejuvenating the finish by buffing it with a very light coat of Howard’s Feed-N-Wax (a blend of beeswax, Brazilian carnauba wax, mineral oil, and orange oil).  
2. Display this piece where it will be protected from sun, chemicals, moisture and damaging heat. No wood likes direct sun, because strong light fades rich colors (of course, some wood colors inevitably change over time).
