Yawning burl driftwood sculptured vase. This rustic large wooden floor sculpture is one-of-a-kind. Its open-sided design is 32" tall, 11" diameter, and 7+" deep inside at the very bottom (3.5 to 4 inches diameter inside at the bottom), and weighs 11# 4 oz. The sculpted container sprang from ocean-beach driftwood, most likely from a deciduous tree. Months or years of floundering in the ocean gave this salvaged wild wood the basic hollowed open-sided shape that is the focus of its design.
