Unique large live edge bowl sculpture, golden brown with maroon tinges, beautiful rich grain, storm damaged wood, reclaimed wood, about 14.5" long, 13" wide, 10’’ tall, 5 lbs 11 oz.
… Local pickup: If you contact me PRIOR to PURCHASE, with the Local Pickup OPTION you might save $60 (see below).
… The beautiful salvaged Siberian black elm wood came from a tree 30” diameter and 60’ tall, approximately 80 years old. It fell in a severe winter ice storm in Oregon City, Oregon, and I was lucky enough to be salvage over 20 amazing pieces for carving.
… Some of the rustic exterior has been preserved to add character to the art and the burls were strategically sculpted to take full advantage of their fascinating grain patterns and colors. Natural splits and cracks have been strengthened and sealed with epoxy.
… This fine art piece is truly unique. It will always generate warm smiles, oohs, ahs, and appreciative comments. It will be an heirloom to remember.
… As for all my larger sculptures, this piece comes with a personalized printed "Record of Ownership."
… A smooth semi-gloss finish protects this bowl so it can hold and display anything but liquids or moist items.
… Shipping: This item will be shipped in a box. I expect it to take 1-3 days to prepare it for shipping and I will email you when it has been sent.

Care of your Valuable Art piece:
1. The beauty of your art piece will best be maintained by periodically gently removing dust, and occasionally buffing it with a very light furniture polish, such as Howard Feed-N-Wax.
2. As for all wood art, it should NOT be displayed in direct sunlight (no wood likes direct sun) because strong light will fade its rich colors, of course some wood’s colors inevitably change a bit over time.
3. Display this treasure where it will be protected from chemicals and moisture.
4. If you have specific questions, you are welcome to contact me via Etsy or email me at rcpaulson@msn.com
… FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions (about custom orders, shipping, care instructions, videos) and their answers can be seen near the bottom of the right column on this listing.
