Finding nature's dead wood gems.

Searching for (or stumbling upon) unique and exciting new raw wood for my sculptures seems to be half the fun.  All the pieces I collect are "down and dead" wood, usually from private ranches or as driftwood.  All the wood comes from the Pacific Northwest of the United States.
